BY LAND AND SEA

The Concept

Travelling by rubber duck boat

This is a fun day for those with a little of an adventurous spirit. We will collect you from your office or hotel and take a drive down the coast to Kalk Bay. Here we start the day with a relaxed breakfast and cappuccino at the famous Olympia Café. After breakfast we take a stroll down to Kalk Bay’s quaint fishing harbour and board our Rigid Inflatable or Rubber Duck. Now the fun begins! The trip will take us across to Seal Island in False Bay or down the coast towards Cape Point Nature Reserve. This will depend on the weather on the day.

False Bay is home to the Great White Shark, Southern Right Whale, Cape Fur Seal and of course the cute African Penguin. After playing in the surf and exploring the coast, it is back to Kalk Bay Harbour where we disembark and transfer across to Noordhoek. Situated in the Silvermine Nature Reserve at the base of Ou Kaapse Weg is a rocky outcrop called Peers Cave. Taking a gentle stroll through the fynbos and to the top of the outcrop we find ourselves confronted with the second part of our adventure, an abseil into Peers Cave. This is a very easy and short introduction to abseiling with clients finding themselves entering the cave through the roof. Set out below is a lunch spread to make your mouth water! Landing on the cave floor it is time to relax, enjoy the view and an unforgettable lunch. Continental cushions and camping chairs are ready and waiting for you.

Doing some abseiling

After lunch it is a gentle stroll back to the vehicles before being transported back to your hotel or office after a fun filled day outdoors.
